FOUNDERS
Disheartened by the heaps of garbage that had become a common scene everywhere in Darbhanga, four friends - Aakriti Choudhary, Kanishka Joshi, Nigar Hassan and Richa Shrivastava decided to do something for their hometown and therefore, came up with the idea of Team Green Darbhanga - first ever all-girls-led team in Darbhanga which is dedicated to change the picture of the town.
Back then, the four of them were oblivious to what and how things need to be done, and they just formed the team with a hope that they might bring some change in the society. But, now they are delighted to see that the efforts actually paid off. The girls say that, 'people do consider our work and along with that we have also grown as individuals and founders, to know how to run the Team efficiently'.
But as it is said, one should never stop learning, therefore, they are excited for the journey ahead, want to learn new things and bring about a positive change in their town.

In order to run a team as ours, it is essential that all the individuals have a common vision, their dream is one and then only they can work as one single entity for that dream to come true.
Members of Team Green, or TGDians as we call them, dream of a Darbhanga whose streets are clean, which breathes fresh air, which has greenery around and whose water bodies are pure.
There is a difference between thinking of an idea and executing that idea. Even though the seed was sown by the founders, but the members are the ones who have nurtured that seed into a sapling now. Nothing would have been successful without the dedication, support and hardwork of our dear members who have been with the team through ups and downs. It's become like a family now and Team Green Darbhanga is really grateful to the members for their hardwork and support.
